Lamarr Major

Lamarr Major is a genre-blurring recording artist whose sound lives at the crossroads of melodic trap and confessional R&B. Blending street-edge honesty with intimate, late-night vulnerability, his music captures the tension between love, ego, desire, and self-reflection. His vocal approach shifts fluidly between smooth, melodic phrasing and conversational bars, giving his records the feel of diary entries set to 808s. Drawing from the emotional directness of contemporary R&B, Lamarr’s songs lean into toxic romance, complicated loyalty, pleasure, regret, and the quiet thoughts people rarely say out loud. Equally comfortable making slow-burning bedroom anthems, hypnotic trap confessionals, and reflective spoken-word–influenced records, Lamarr builds songs that feel lived-in rather than performed — music that resonates in headphones at 2 a.m. just as easily as it hits in a car with the bass turned all the way up.
