Buyers FAQ
Everything you need to know before buying music, beats or merch from the AIE Music Store.
What does a beat lease give me?
Every beat is sold as a non-exclusive lease. You can release songs on it within your tier's limits, and the producer keeps ownership, so others may lease the same beat. Leases are perpetual within those limits. We don't sell exclusives.
Every license requires you to credit "Prod. [producer name]". You can't resell or redistribute the beat itself, and you can't register the beat with Content ID. Beats may be created with AI-assisted tools.

All tiers allow for-profit live performances. Producers may set their own prices, so prices on each beat can differ from the defaults above.
Can I upgrade my lease later?
Yes. You can upgrade to a higher tier later by paying the difference.
Is there a bulk deal?
Buy 2, get 1 free on beats. For every three beats in your cart, the lowest-priced one is free. It only applies to beats, not music releases, and doesn't combine with other discounts.
Where are my downloads and license?
After payment, everything shows up in My Library. Beat purchases include a License PDF with your terms. Music releases come with the download only, with no license.
What's your refund policy?
Digital purchases are final. Because music and beat files can't be returned once delivered, we don't refund downloads.
If a file is broken, missing or isn't what was listed, email questions@aiemusic.com and we'll replace it or refund you.
Merch follows our written merch policy:
- All merch sales are final. Everything is printed on demand just for you, so we don't accept returns or exchanges, including for sizing — check the size chart before ordering.
- Full refund if: your order is never fulfilled or shipped, or you ask us to cancel before your order goes into production.
- Damaged, defective or wrong item? Email orders@aiemusic.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo and we'll send a free replacement.
How much goes to the artist?
Artists and producers keep 85%. AIE keeps 15%. The split comes from what you actually paid after discounts, minus sales tax and Stripe's card processing fee. It's the same for music, beats and artist merch, and it includes any extra you choose to pay on name-your-price releases.
For merch, Printful's printing and shipping cost comes out first, before the split.
